How does Rugby unites us as a Pacific
Rugby started in the year 1823 and since then it had a big impacts in the sport field as some of the countries were known because of this sport like South Africa and Fiji.

Rugby is a team game played with a oval shaped ball, the winner is decided by which team has scored the most points.

Rugby unites us as a pacific as it makes all the people from the pacific and the world to come together and enjoy the game such as Fiji sevens and Manu samoa.

For some people it is considered as a national pride and when a team beats another team it makes them really proud of their nationality. People celebrate like a festival when their country wins.
This sport is not just a sport but a emotion for people, it rings all the families and villages together to cheer for their favourite teams.

The sport also represents our culture as it showcases our traditional dances like the fijian cibi, it gives goosebumps as the dance is presented as the supporters and even the supporters of the opposite team has respect for it.

The sport has also made some big stars who are role model for many children such as Jerry Tuwai and Semi Radradra.

Most of the players from the pacific island give back to their villages as they support the schools and churches and the local rugby.

people from the pacific who are living in foreign countries are still supporting their countries

The rugby events become unions for the people as it makes them meet other people people, which brings the pacific islanders together.

Rugby teaches us many things such as values, it teaches us on how to respect each other, teamwork and humility.
It helps us to stay who we are and stay connected to our roots and culture. Even when the player go to overseas to play rugby they still know who they are and what they represent.
Rugby opens the doors for children who are really interested in playing rugby as it a good opportunity to represent for your country.
Rugby also creates peace and encourages people to stay united
